Haunted Storage Stories

It was dark and cold. As I was almost falling asleep, I nodded and then suddenly there was a tapping. It was like someone gently rapping at my chamber doors. This is all.

So, I got up from the boxes of memories that I was currently sorting through and raised my Greenbar Secure Storage unit’s door (which was only one of 800 units located in four different locations). On the other side was a man. He was wearing a black trench coat and a hat. He had a raven sitting on his shoulder. I swear I could hear the raven whispering.

I was told by the man to get down because he had stories to tell.

He asked me, “Do you like scary stories boy?”

“Scary like ghosts or goblins, scary like being charged too much for commercial storage statesboro ga (which is never the case at Greenbar Secure Storage),” I replied sarcastically.

The man stared at me for what felt like an eternity (especially since I’ve gotten so used to saving time because I can manage my account and make payments at kandlstorage.com/pay-online).

He said, “I’m going to tell you some stories.” “About haunted storage containers, similar to the one we are in right now.”

The thunder and lightning rumbled outside, but luckily Greenbar Secure Storage’s storage units are waterproof. And so the man began his tale.

The man laughed and said, “It used to be a cinema.” It was in Sheffield, England. Mr. Porter was the manager of the cinema. It was converted into a self-storage facility after the cinema was demolished. According to legend, Mr. Porter has been seen several times. The vision shows him as an ethereal, strange vision that is accompanied by flashing lights and vibrations on the ground. Some people have claimed to have seen an elderly man walking through the facility late at night when no one was supposed to be. The projector was operated by Mr. Porter in the old cinema. Sometimes, but not always, the reels start to roll in that room.

I smiled at him, bemused, but not startled. Let’s just say that my partner was more scared when he saw the number of Amazon boxes that I had kept in our unit.

I was tempting fate by asking, “Is that all you have?”

I smiled back at him and he slowly shook his head.

“No, child. “The best is yet to come.”

My flashlight flashed and I was able to see the outside world. Let’s just say that the part of my brain was a little bit startling.

He whispered, “Let’s tell you another story.” “This one is a little closer to my heart.”

I sat down on one of the boxes scattered about my unit (which was larger but still cost me less than $100 per month) to listen to the man’s last story.

The man began, “This particular story takes place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.” The Guaranty Income Life and Broadcasting Building now calls the building, which has business storage on its bottom level. It was the Baton Rouge General Hospital, and the basement was the morgue.

“Obviously,” I responded.

“Hush, boy. It’s no surprise that the building is considered one of Baton Rouge’s most haunted. According to several reports, the basement temperature drops at night. This is similar to the temperatures in freezers that were used for keeping dead bodies frozen. Many security guards report seeing ghosts and hearing loud noises at night.

“Well, that’s all fine,” I said. “But, I’m not concerned about ghosts here. Greenbar Secure Storage provides 24-hour surveillance and security. It is fully fenced and has a digital surveillance camera. They’ll be disappointed if creatures of the night attempt to enter this storage area.

Finally, I managed to get my flashlight to turn on again and nobody was there when it did.

I called Greenbar Secure Storage at 855 786-7325 the next day and asked them if they could review the surveillance footage to check if they had seen a man enter my unit.

They said that one walked in and one walked away-both were true.

Perhaps haunted storage units exist.
